A friend mentioned this in a post regarding a trip to the Kimball Art Museum and I hadn’t heard/seen it before. Pretty crazy, the tl;dr is that it has been authenticated as a Michelangelo by the Met in NYC and it is believed to be an early easel painting done by Michelangelo when he apprenticed under Ghirlandaio. I’ll probably read The Agony and the Ecstasy for the whatever time...
